Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at 1:00 PM until 2:00 PMEastern Standard Time UTC -05:00

Supporting queer and transgender students throughout their college journey requires intentionality, cultural competency, and advocacy. This session will explore how counselors, admissions professionals, and educators can create affirming, inclusive, and supportive environments that help LGBTQ+ students navigate the college search, application, and enrollment process with confidence.

Attendees will gain practical tools and strategies to assist queer and trans students in identifying affirming campuses, understanding policies and resources, and addressing unique challenges related to identity, safety, and belonging. Join us to learn how to be a stronger advocate and ally from application to graduation. Join Abby Molos from St. John's University and Sierra Romano from Adelphi University to learn more and explore this topic.
