Basics of College Counseling Workshop

NJACAC’s Basics Workshop is a 1-day intensive geared towards school counselors and admissions professionals brand new to the profession or those with up to a year of experience - but all are welcome to attend! Led by seasoned vets within NJACAC, this program acts as a crash course in the admissions process including wisdom exchanges, hot topic discussions, case studies, and more.

This year’s Basics Workshop will be held on Monday, 8/11/2025 at Rider University. Registration includes lunch, snacks throughout the day, workshop materials, and a 1-year membership to NJACAC from 9/1/2025-8/31/2026. The cost of registration is $125 if registering before July 1st; on or after July 1st, registration is $150 per person.
